Yea, I know, the first time we all heard XXXplosive, we knew we were listening to a banger, but classic...a classic takes time to see if it can stand up to the fickleness of the culture.

    Outkast, Snoop, Big, Kanye, Jay, Em, Dre, Cube, Tribe, have all    Classic 5 mic, 10 star, 100/100, certified fresh (whatever metric you use) albums rarely can be determined after the first listen. Yea, I know, the first time we all heard XXXplosive, we knew we were listening to a banger, but classic...a classic takes time to see if it can stand up to the fickleness of the culture.

    Outkast, Snoop, Big, Kanye, Jay, Em, Dre, Cube, Tribe, have all blessed the culture with perfect albums in their hay day. Outkast, arguably has 2, Dre has produced several, and now add to that list his latest work with Shady.

    The album has heft, and feels heavy for modern culture to blast in 1 session. But inevitably when my attention is drawn elsewhere after 5 tracks, and i put it down, walking away feeling like Shady has been resurrected. Then, minutes, hours, or days later, when I come back to the album, and hit play again, I am transported to that same feeling.

    MTBMB is a literally the definition of a banger. Shady gives you so many different styles and transitions. Is it perfect, no. That's not why I am giving it 10 stars. I would have left 1 or 2 songs off the LP. But, is it a classic? **** YES. The double entendres, puns, imagery, storytelling, leap frog any album released in the past 10 years.

    One of his best. Really enjoyed : I Will, Little Engine, Leaving Heaven and basically everything to be honest.
    As long as you gave it a try - and I don't mean a single listen, you will see the depth in every song and probably like it too!

    Surprise album ... Yes, perhaps this is a great gift, a way after Christmas. The album came out magnificent both on the production side and on the side of the lyrics. Yes, there are drawbacks, but they are not noticeable against the general background. This is his best album since 2013.

    Eminem's album MTMB offers a weird trip for his fans as it takes us back to Marshal's beginnings and ingenuity with words but also provides a variety of "new school" beats and it all sounds perfect together. Em's new style is certainly original, and we cannot expect anything less from the artist. Em take a bow, you've once again made hip-hop history.

    It's got everything you're looking for in a top rap album. Great hooks, insane verses. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're missing out. On a lot. Musically-wise, I consider it to be his best album since Relapse. His style on MTBMB is a perfect mix of old-school and modern sounds, which is one of the reasons the album has such a high replay value I believe.

    You need to give this album time. Trust me when I say this, it grows on you. Songs like Darkness, in too deep, leaving heaven grow on you to an extent where you can't get it out of your head. There are very minimal skips if any (none for me personally).
    The album isn't one directional is one of the most technical work by Slim (not Eminem, Slim Shady)

    I just LOVE this !! The way eminem changes his flow with the beat, that's insane. Along with the record breaking at the last verse of Godzilla. Just WOW!! And i liked the features also especially the chorus that Juice WRLD did. Overall, awesome ❤

    First listen to the album, I thought it was mediocre 6/10 at best.... But after 3rd listen it's getting better every time. Now it lands at 7.5/10 I think it's a 7.5-8 album and his best work since recovery. Although I personally love kamikaze a lot. #eminem #MusicToBeMurderedBy

The features in this album are also amazing with features from slaughterhouse (besides joe budden for obvious reasons), young M.A, Royce multiple time and the late juice world(rip). Almost every song is amazing besides the kinda night which is still good but has a bit of corny bars and an old school feel. In every song has very complex bars and double entandres with farewell and darkness being one big double entendre. All in all this album is almost perfect and is a must buy if you are an eminem fan or a fan of complicated bars, double entendres, and lyrics.… Expand

    The first Eminem album that I have been hyped for, didn't know that much about Eminem before started listening to him after Kamikaze. This album is the perfect follow up. Great storytelling in Darkness, Stepdad and leaving heaven reminds me of Stan. amazing lyrics and wordplay as usual. He dips into a new mini-genre with features such as Juice WRLD, Don Toliver and Young M.A but retainsThe first Eminem album that I have been hyped for, didn't know that much about Eminem before started listening to him after Kamikaze.     The album is a bit like "Revival", but that doesn't make it bad! "MTBMB" took on the aggression of "Kamikaze" and the drama of "Revival"! It turned out very well !
    From the top tracks I can note: Godzilla, Darkness, Yah Yah, Step Dad, Those Kinda NIghts!

    Excellent Album. Eminem à parvenu à s'adapter à la nouvelle génération et à sortir un album très complet sans grand défauts. Du Slim Shady de haut niveau ! Des features de malades, et un Flow prenant qui laisse sans voix tout au long de l'album. Son meilleur album de puis Relapse ou Recovery. Bref ça fait 10 ans qu'on avait pas entendu Eminem comme ça.     Violent, corny, goofy, genius and INSANE lyrics. Eminem displays his lyrical ability and his creativity that he's know for while murdering the modern day "mumble rap" beats. This is a slap in the face of today's rap culture that implies that rappers can't be lyrical in certain types of beats. Eminem murders every single line in a vicious and fast lyrical rampage. Great and really unexpected features. This is best album we've seen from Eminem since MMLP2, and he delivers it. Absolutely phenomenal and unexpected.
    The replay value of this album is a bit of a hit and miss, while I personally disliked a few songs, and already put a few others in my rap playlist, this is an album we'll be remembering for sure.
    Eminem shows us that he can indeed wake up Slim Shady and deliver a hell of an album if he feels like it.
    The complains are personal picks, I absolutely hate when he screams at the mic, he needs to stop doing that, his accents and voice changes are perfect, don't need to ruin that with screaming.
    He should also stop singing, a little bit of singing is fine but I've noticed this has been increasing since MMLP2 and it doesn't need to.
    He should also try and incorporate Slim Shady in a few classic beats and flows like he did in MMLP and The Eminem Show.

    Eminem tried harder and in this album he wanted to satisfy more rap listeners than a specific group. I loved it, album mood is too crazy and catching.     If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.
