    Zayn deserves respect and recognition. The album that he has put on the table is amazing to listen. Personally I don't care much about lyrics. I just love to listen to melodies and music of songs. If the tune, music or melody of a song pleases me, then I am in. Zayn's third album is full of such pleasent melodies. Most of the songs are good to hear. I bet one won't get bore at any pointZayn deserves respect and recognition. The album that he has put on the table is amazing to listen.     i can see zayn improving with every album he releases, altho this album is not yet mature enuf to compare with those hot ones, but i can see that hes given his all for this. ur the most amazing zaynnn!

    Zayn has really stepped up the game!! This album has just left me mind blown when I first heard it, it's so chill but so hot at the same time and with his angelic seducing vocals it's even hotter, lyrically I really loved Calamity, **** tight rope, outside and river road. The way he started the album and finished it is perfect and it just feels like a whole body of work from the beginningZayn has really stepped up the game!!     Think album is definitely one of the best R&B albums in 2020/2021.
    I’m not a huge Zayn fan, but I won’t skip a song on this album.
    It literally keeps on my toes on every song!

    I don't know why Zayn keeps on making album with the same old vibes. You can do better Zayn. To be honest this is not a bad album, it's just that he keeps on bringing the listener to his initial discography. The melodic compositions was just like his debut album. This album lacks conviction but quite impressed with the production.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I kinda fell off of Zayn after PILLOWTALK but am recently rediscovering him after this release, and I gotta say, I’m definitely a fan. I’ve been tracking some reviews and analyses of the album and I’m generally shocked by such mixed reviews. I think this album really proves his credibility as an honest to God artist rather than just a vocalist. I love his use of falsetto, the blurred lines between genres is particularly creative and the lyricism itself is very intentional. The inclusion of “Chaudhvin Ka Chand” by Mohammad Rafi (which was a huge deal in Bollywood in the 60s) as a bridge in Urdu in “Tightrope” is inspired, in addition to the lyrical parallels of “River Road” to Kahlil Gibran’s “On Marriage”:


    “We don’t define each other
    Stand on your own, be a pillar” the song

    And “And stand together yet not too near
    together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart,” the poem

    I just think this is it’s own level of artistic brilliance. As for production of the album I’ve been seeing also reviews stating some friction between tracks that are overproduced vs underproduced. I admit there’s some songs that I had to listen to more than once due to the production of the track but I think I’m all the more better for it. Every time I listen to the album I hear something new; whether it be a reference to a previous album (the concept of falling from a too passionate love from Icarus Falls, his 2nd album), or the slight pitch in certain lyrics when sung. This to me is just evidence of the level of intention Zayn conveys and inputs into this album. This is not supposed to be an album full of bangers, it feels like an atmospheric self reflection piece. Does something slightly so experimental such as this run the risk of underperforming commercially? Absolutely, but I hold such appreciation for an artist who does art for the very sake of it, and I’ve enjoyed watching the reactions of people who don’t even know who Zayn is experience the emotions conveyed on this album.    … Expand

Then we move to „better” which is a really good single. The production is truly enjoyable to listen to. Next we have „outside” which is one of my favorites. I think „sweat” should be the next single. Its so oldschool, kinda 70/80s drums beat. „Unf**kwitable” is such a confident anthem. It makes me feel powerful. „Windowsill” is a collab with Devlin. Its a r&b kinda trap track. I love Zayn’s voice in it. Next is my number 1 song which is „tightrope”. Zayn’s voice in it makes me wanna cry. Its so gentle but with a rasp. Such a beautiful song. I think it might be my favorite song from zayn ever. We finish with „river road” which is a r&b maybe country guitar song. Overall this album is so Zayn. I think it really decscribes him.     All the tracks are hands down amazing in this album. Zayn's voice and the lyrics. This is the best album he could ever give us. Vibez is so good. My favorite track is Tightrope and Connexion. His music is damn love.

    an underrated masterpiece!! one of the best albums of all time. everything about this album is just so amazing!! the lyrics and the production are PERFECT!! zayn sounds like an angel. he’s literally the vocalist of our generation.     His most personal album. He manages to criticize the industry and be honest in his compositions, like "Calamity" and "Unf***witable". The latter having soft and delicate vocals, the melody is so beautiful. "Connexion" and "Tightrope" being the most beautiful in my opinion and he still pays a little tribute to his grandfather in "Tightrope". I'm so proud of ZAYN.

An excellent composition, the intro was surprisingly catchy and the tracks had a good balance of tone, could've held more singles but 2 promotional ones are good since that the record has 11 songs only.     Most intimate Album by Zayn,but there something Missing like repeat ability where even if you are not his fan you'll want to keep listening to the singles I wish they would have more repeat value

    This is one of the greatest album of our time. I want everybody to give it a go, highly recommended if you genuinely have a good taste in music. The creativity, artistic glow and last but not the least zayn's beautiful voice has made this album a masterpiece.

    Nobody Is Listening doubles down on this expertly cultivated, look-but-don’t-touch, this-far-and-no-further brand. The good news is that, as an artist, Zayn keeps refining. The songwriters may be many here, but the songs suit him more and more.
