Apr 4, 2022Fast-forward a few years and that mid-fi, highly melodic sound [on 2018's Parallel Universe Blues] is fully intact on Past Life Regression. It's a little clearer, sharper around the edges, and less bathed in a kind of third-album VU haze.

Apr 4, 2022All in all, Quever does a great job of marrying all of his influences together to create his own sound that is both timeless and new. Fans of Papercuts will undoubtedly enjoy Past Life Regressions and those new to Papercuts have much to look forward to by giving it a listen.

May 17, 2022There is something understated and slightly eccentric going on here and that can throw people off and have them mistakenly thinking this is not substantial and worthy of attention, but to dismiss this and overlook it is a grievous error. This album is a lovely hidden pop gem.
