Obviously getting signed to a major label killed another great rapper. Cd has only one good song (Up In The Club) and the rest is all musical murder. Let's Roll oughta be a Kid Rock song as I'm surprised Yelawolf would want to take ownership of that gem. It's a step in the wrong direction especially since Trunk Muzik was his best work, and it wasn't even a full release. It's really a shame it came down to this because I feel like it only gets worse from here. Expand

Radioactive is a mixed bag that has some outstanding tracks, while others fail from a lack of execution particularly in the production and hook department.

The end result is an album during which the main protagonist seems unaware of what's going on, playing second fiddle to the ruminations of backseat A&Rs and misguided grasps at populism.

It's hard to view Radioactive in any context that doesn't label as it a total artistic failure, to see the totality of Yelawolf's rolling over to commercial demands as anything but truly disheartening.
