    It's SO good! The whole album sounds so...fresh and beautiful. Truly one of her best albums of all time! I recommend listening to It for sure!

    Personal favorite songs: Ring, Crowded Room and People You Know.

    Not a Selena fan but impressed with this album. Lyrics are much more personal and production is more varied than Revival. Rare is definitely a cohesive body of work, but I felt slightly bored to the end of the album. The first half of the album was skipless, rare, ring lytlm, vulnerable are my favorites,

    It's GOOD. Honestly, look at her now, a prereleased song, is one of the weaker songs. I was worried it would be the opposite. A strong project with great features. Dance again!! Crowded room!! VULNERABLE!!!!! I'm so glad I get to listen to this.

    Consistent album, gives us chill vibes, and that's what Selena wants. If you want a super-pop-dance-eletronic album, listen to Stars Dance. Rare is more authentic, selena express calm and relax vibes.

    Gomez had such a improvement vocally and on the lyrics. She came with this album in a mature way, with songs in different directions that matched well with her voice. For me, its her best work, such inspirational songs that talks about her life.

    Selena consegue trazer emoção em 100% do disco, uma sensibilidade que dá o toque necessário para tudo isso funcionar. Você tenta escolher sua música preferida a cada faixa que passa, mas no final sente que deve ouvir tudo de novo para decidir, e fica nisso sempre porque não tem músicas genéricas.

The album is packed with lyrics about real life emotions and situations accompanied with catchy tunes. It was hard to think that any album could top Revival but Miss Gomez really topped it with Rare. Usually albums have at least one song that is a skip but this album has noSelena Gomez made a 4 year wait definitely worth it. Rare is a perfect portfolio of growth as a person and an artist.     i'm very impressed by selena's growth this time! wow! i've been discussing the album with my friends since it came out, and based on our personal favorites & rankings it's pretty clear that this album has a something for everyone. I haven't been keeping up with selena's life or know much about her experiences but i can feel how authentic & honest she is with this album. I'm in love! :)

    Such generic productions, with forgettable melodies and tired vocals. The lyrics to some songs are the best part of the LP, but still their beat are so outdated that can't overcome. It's a LP to listen to the singles only and two or three other songs.

The album is just an amount of chill beats and cliché lyrics, not at all like the bangers we were receiving from Selena in Bad Liar, Fetish or Back at You. On the good side, shout out to the two collabs,After Revival and four years of random (but great) releases, we find in Rare that maybe that was it. It certainly gives you the feeling of going somewhere, but we never find out where.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
