    Selena in a few tracks managed to deliver everything that was missing in pop. With deep letters, beautiful arrangements and smart puns, she manages to hold our attention. A special attention to "People You Know" is simply a work of art, and deserves to be worked as a single.

    I was very hyped about Selena's new music and I was ready to stream it for maybe a couple of hours when it dropped, especially the songs that I really liked, but what I didn't expect was to be hit with bop after bop in the album.
    I loved the album because it is fun and sweet, all the songs speak in some way about self-love and growth, yet it's so danceable and beautiful

    This follow up album to her 2015 hit 'Revival' is truly at par to a level beyond the latter's. If Revival was a stepping stone then Rare is a body of work that stands as a witness to Selena Gomez's growth as an artist that has found her footing and is ready to embrace it. Beautiful evolution and execution.

    This album is good if you're going through anxiety, depression and/or self-esteem issues. The songs are very positive and the rhythms are really catchy. I recommend RARE a lot.

    The pop princess returns. Selena decided to experiment and discover her own sound, which is rare these days. She doesn’t copy other sounds to stay popular like others, she makes her sound. It was well worth the wait.

    A cohesive, well put together album, showing that albums should not be rushed, but should be a thoughtful process. Gomez moves away from the generic sound every pop girl is going for nowadays, showing how it is okay to move away from this sound and discover your own. The album was definitely worth the wait!

    Fresh, new, all the songs have a strong bass melody which reminds us of "Bad Liar". The instrumental are modern but have a vintage vibe.
    The lyrical content is mature, personal, deep. Definitely her best album.

    The album is one of the best things that has appeared in the world in recent years! the melody, lyrics and feeling from end to end of each track. And a basic lesson in self-love and acceptance, all songs have something to relate to our lives and have a solution to this problem or learn about it. It took four years for that, and it was pretty offsetting.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
