  1. Ultimately, the list of collaborators on She Wolf may be an impressive roll call, but perhaps Shakira would do better in listening to her own instincts than that of others.
  2. Howling good fun from Lupine superstar.
  3. Timbaland and Lil Wayne are brought in for second single 'Give It Up to Me,' a last-minute effort to insure that She Wolf will be more appealing to U.S. audiences, but the track is none of the participating parties' best moments, and it's unlikely to save a project that, like the loba herself, has a bit of an identity problem.
  4. The result is certainly more adventurous than anything from her peers, if a little forced.
  5. She Wolf splits down the middle pretty easily, half the tracks exuding a wry sexuality and a retro-rocking stylistic template while the other half dabble with already-passed production fads and remarkably incoherent metaphors.
  6. It’s so undercooked and overwritten--with wan wolf howls and lines about being treated like a coffee machine in an office--that it reaches a special class of fascinating-awful.

After few songs I just got lost, and I couldn't connect with tracks. "She Wolf" is really amazing song, and I'm not saying it only because of memories, but because it got really great hook and Shakira's vocals are here amazing. "Give It Up To Me" is definitively outstanding track for Shakira, however when we compare it to other Timbaland-produced songs, it sounds completely the same. "Did It Again" and "Long Time" are okay. When I heard first 40 seconds of "Why Wait" I really seem it as a good track, however its chorus killed it...it's too slow for me. "Good Staff" and "Men in This Town" are tolerable, when "Gypsy" has some good moments, but it's lacking something. "Spy" is really weird to me, when "Mon Amour" has the same problem as "Why Wait" - strong intro, slow vocals. :v
I really hoped that this album would be good, but it isn't. :v
