Staying At Tamara’s doesn’t shelve real-life problems, but simply recognises the power in taking yourself away.

Ultimately, it’s this blend of new-found maturity and crowd-pleasing choruses that transform Ezra’s second offering into the perfect progression from the sound of his debut.

These are songs destined to soundtrack supermarket adverts extolling the convivial virtues of barbecuing. They stand up to scrutiny about as well as a cheap sausage, but slip down just as easily.

This isn't an album that's really imbued with the sound of his own travels. that said, it's a warm, optimistic pop'n'roll record that is hard not to like. [May 2018, p.108]

Although it will sound perfect in the arenas of the land this summer, for those of us who were blown away by early tracks like Budapest and Cassy O, there’s a lot on this follow-up that plays a bit too safe.

Staying at Tamara's is upbeat and light to a fault, a microcosm of cheer mostly blissfully unaware of the chaotic world around it. This is by design, sure, but it also makes the album feel unapologetically, yet unforgivably inconsequential.

Staying at Tamara’s defining mood is one of unchallenging, and unflinching, politeness.

George Ezra is amazing! Is such a great album. The best track is absolutely "Paradise", a hit that is in the top 5 of Official Charts. Such a smash.

Very good album. George Ezra moves forward. Songs is more catchy. Choruses are big. This album is not the second Wanted On Voyage. Sound ofVery good album. George Ezra moves forward. Songs is more catchy. Choruses are big. This album is not the second Wanted On Voyage. Sound of Staying at Tamara's is different, but I don't think that this is a bad decision. Some songs are amazing, but songs like Only a Human or The Beautiful Dream you may forget.

Staying at Tamara's is good album with lot of catchy songs and I like it, although it is not like debut. SaT is more optimistic, it has a massive sound and you will may sing along all songs from this album.

It is an album to pass the time and be quiet listening to it. It has nothing new and innovative.

Certain tracks stand out, such as Shotgun, Paradise and Hold my Girl, some tracks do well in keeping you in the album for a bit longer, even if they aren't appealing as the others (Saviour, Pretty Shining People, Don't Matter Now). But it's that lack of consistency throughout the album that really got on my nerves. I may sound like a George Ezra purist by saying this, but this album doesn't sound like George Ezra. It's lost that dark side that Wanted on Voyage had with songs like 'Did You Hear The Rain?' and 'Breakaway'. Although the album is fun, and I tried my best to go in with middling expectations, my expectations were not exceeded, and I'm left a bit underwhelmed. I'm off to listen to Wanted on Voyage again. However, the second half of the album is so boring and I honestly was counting the seconds for the songs to end. These songs aren't experimental and i couldn't find a way to enjoy them at all. The lack of overall consistency ruins the album for me and doesn't live up to the previous album.
