One of the best albums of this great artist, showing musical evolution. This work projects the musical emotion when listening to each of his songs.

    Better than "SOUR"
I have never heard a better album.
But I get that some people are mad bc the thematical part is the same as The Weeknd s other albums.

After Hours never gets old. This is hands down Abel's best work, thanks to a perfect production.

What a disappointment... I don’t think I ever had this much expectations for an album, but what I listened to was just meh. This album is so boring and most of the songs sound the same, except… the singles... After Hours remains as one of the defining albums of 2020. Loaded with party tunes and heartbreak anthems, After Hours reemphasised The Weeknd's starboy status.

Imagine dragging your tired body into your car in the evening after work and class on Friday, turning on the CD player and playing full "After Hours"album, driving in the city night full of neon lights, ah, what a wonderful night .

Every track on this album feels like it's own different experience, especially the title track. 'After Hours' is 100% his best album and definitely makes a worthy listen. Expand

I don't care what anyone says. Even tho I love mixtape weeknd. Personally, this is my favorite weeknd album. It's amazing and will be a certified classic in 20 years.

Whilst i can respect the weeknd's affinity for reinvention ajd fascination with retro sounds i cannot say i enjoyed this record. It felt mediocre, bland and derivative. Nothing about after hours feels relevant, instead its a vapid depressive episode.

After Hours is the perfect album for those who like to listen to a full-filled production and a unique sonority. Perfect rollout, perfect history, perfect Era. Abel blends a perfect mix of 80s and dark R&B on this masterpiece album. Probably the best album of 2020 as a whole. Just wow.

Whilst this is the first album I've listened to in full by The Weeknd, it definitely did not disappoint. It gives off a very 80s vibe, especially with all the electropop and synthpop included. My personal favourites were 'Hardest To Love', and 'In Your Eyes'. It's a great record!

The album is absolutely amazing. The Weeknd is such a committed artist and it's astonishing how his music is so nicely haunting. We shall not forget the super nostalgic influence of the 80s beats and sax solos. Artists have been bringing back trends from decades ago very often, but it seems like 2020 is officially the year of "Future Nostalgia" as the pop artist Dua Lipa has been calling it. Expand

I feel like this is The Weeknd’s best work yet. With him bringing back the vibes I had when listening to his early works like trilogy and kiss land, even while keeping the flow he has today on the album. It’s just a masterpiece, something never made before never seen before. It explains his struggles after making it big in Hollywood, about break ups and drugs (again), and much more. Spidery tendrils of sex-and-drugs-related dread curl around dramatic synth-pop and twinkling R&B, Yet there's also a batch of tracks that draw from bombastic, slightly tacky '80s pop - a warm, funny and wholly welcome diversion from the stylish but sterile bleakness that remains Tesfaye's calling card.
