    It's no instant classic, then, but neither is it the calamity that some have foreseen, being a typically mixed Gaga outing with some ludicrous highs, questionable digressions and plenty of not-unpleasant filler. «ARTPOP» wants to hide that it doesn’t have much to say. Not a great pop album, then, but certainly the product of a great pop star.     I give it a 10 for a very simple reason: there's nothing out there that sounds like it.
    It's a very good example of sophisticated and refined EDM-pop. Just the opening track Aura already features many moments of heightened ecstasy once it ventures in the wobbly bridge where scatting beats meet fuzzy vocals.
    I happen to be very neutral about Venus and G.U.Y. I don't hate the tracks, but I    I give it a 10 for a very simple reason: there's nothing out there that sounds like it.

    I happen to be very neutral about Venus and G.U.Y. I don't hate the tracks, but I also don't see why so many people go head over heels for them.
    The true highlights are on the later part of the album. Fashion!, though hated by many, is actually a very well-crafted anthem alluding to the refuge of projections. Gaga has mentioned many times how she always felt like a superstar, and her fashion reflected that. There's too much complexity lying behind the seemingly shallow lyrics, and a lot of it can be boiled down to queer identity. It's a song about liberation, about uplifting yourself when no one else does, and it is my personal favorite.
    Mary Jane Holland, in terms of sound, is pure bliss. The lyrics are campy and playful, but they do extend on the commentary on fame Gaga did many years back. In here we see Gaga finding joy in anonymity. Being able to finally let out her wild side when embodying a persona. It has even more layers once you put into account that Gaga herself is a persona of Stefani, and how even Gaga has to sometimes escape from being herself to be free.
    Gypsy is what Chromatica went on to be. A supercut of Gaga's whole career. In here, we see the joy her artistry brings, but also the pain. The duality of pain and beauty are perfectly underlined in the upbeat instrumental coalescing wonderfully with the gritty lyrics.
    Though Dope and Applause are great tracks, I don't feel like they truly have a place in the sound channeled in all the other tracks.
    I love ARTPOP, even if the stans might have ruined it for me.    … Expand

    Lady Gaga's best album by light years. ARTPOP proves to be an amazing record by the one and only very talented Lady Gaga. Although some people may disagree with me, I firmly believe this album has her best production yet!

Eger Gaga o donem bu albume cok fazla hype yaratarak hazirlanmasa elestirmenlerin bu denli acimasiz olacagini zannetmiyorum. Yine de sevdigim bir albumdur. Cogu sarkisini hala keyifle dinlerim.

    It's 2022, and if someone tell me "artpop is turning 10 next year" I would genuinely call them a liar. Compared to Roar (Katy Perry's 2013 single) this entire album has aged like wine. It's so catchy and the experimental electro pop featured just has me enamored. 10/10 to this fab, blonde, skinny album.

    Un álbum en el que Lady Gaga se animó a incursionar en una electrónica más experimental y efusiva. No hay tanta cohesión en el sonido general del álbum, pero aún así es arriesgado e innovador.

I can't stand the mixed or negative reviews this album gets when compared to the artistical "crap" that was released by Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus or anybody else. The entire album is written, (co-)produced and "done" by the artist not by a dozen of different songwriters or producers per track.… Expand

    This Album was slept on and is just a masterpiece, Gypsy should have got music video treatment and im still holding out hope for an ARTPOP PT2

    Its not a bad album. Its not a very good one either. Applause is my favorite song from the album, this song is amazing, to sing and at the same time to dance at the disco... I live for the Applause.

O ARTPOP nunca fica velho, passa -se anos e anos as faixas nunca ficam velhas ou ultrapassadas. A Gaga transcendeu com esse álbum e mostrou ser uma das melhores artista da indústria.     Honestly I loved the whole album. It's one of my favourites along with BTW & Fame Monster.
    It was so underrated when it first came out, then it did amazing years later as one of the most listened to albums in 2021 I believe. The whole thing is just amazing and I was happy Lady Gaga was doing something completely in her vision.
