    An amazing album from start to finish. It's a perfect composition. He spent 10 months preparing this album and it lived up to my expectations. the lyrics and the vocals all feel just right. This album shows everyone his inner world.

    “FACE”is a masterpiece. Jimin bares his inner conflicts, confusion, and the loneliness he experienced during the pandemic. He said it was kinda like his diary and recommended listening to the album in order as he tells his story in each song. Jimin’s stardust powder vocals delivers such emotions, the lyrics so honest and raw that I sometimes felt as if I were reading someone’s diary. FACE“FACE”is a masterpiece. Jimin bares his inner conflicts, confusion, and the loneliness he experienced during the pandemic. He said it was kinda like his diary and recommended listening to the album in order as he tells his story in each song.     I was really excited for 1st Jimin album. And he didn't disappointed. I love all 5 songs equally. But hidden track Letter is something else. The love and appreciation it conveys towards fans is special. Jimin said Face is about his feelings he felt through 2 years of pandemic and he did expressed them well. I fell like everyone can relate to each song. For example Like Crazy conveys theI was really excited for 1st Jimin album. And he didn't disappointed. I love all 5 songs equally.     Face-off confrontation, trying to get rid of traces he doesn't accept in himself.
    Interlude: Dive dive into dreams Like Crazy escapism, choosing avoiding to see to stay in the dream even if it breaks him. Avoiding to see the reality.
    Alone continuing the theme, trying to run away, feelings on loneliness. did he possibly woke up from the dream?
    Set Me Free Pt.2 accepting the true face of himself, confronting himself,getting free. Cant hide himself anymore. You still can enjoy songs on its own without diving deep but if you wanna to hear the story Jimin is telling you need to go from top to bottom.     I was really impressed by Jimin's singing technique in Set Me free pt.2. His voice is so sexy and charming. And for this album, it's made up of events. which he met and passed what a beautiful album.

    Like crazy is Underrated. Being no supported by his company to buy radiostations is a strong reason of his good influence and it's something that real artists should do. The song it's really good, I would put that song in a party. The whole album is a little bit a piece of art. I like so much the hidden track it's beautiful of hear. I hope that it can be appreciated by global people.

    I suggest everyone should listen to this album
    The album has catchy songs that express the process of overcoming loneliness and wandering on the other side of a glamorous life.
    It is unbelievably perfect for a first solo project.

    One of the best albums to ever be made. It's a little short but the songs are great. Qualifies for walks and workouts. You find yourself moving along to the songs without even realizing it.

    Jimin's first solo album FACE takes you on a journey of emotions as he tells a story of his pains and struggles during the last few years; but in the end with the song "Set Me Free pt 2" he battles through all the hate and negativity around him and overcomes it all.

Set me Free pt 2 is an auditory experience with tasteful sprinkling of autotune. If you watch the mv the performance is mind blowing. It really is a song that needs that visual experience on top of auditory. Like crazy the title track is a nostalgic synth dance track that is so catchy and hypnotizining. My other favorite track is Alone, jimin's angelic and haunting vocals… Expand

    Jimin’s solo is definitely my favorite among all the BTS members. I was pleasantly surprised, Like crazy is actually a really good song. Usually when BTS sings in English it’s very…. Sesame Street-esque…. but this was actually a really good introspective album Face off set a beautiful tone to the album and I liked how he kept the subject matter of songs the same even if the genre wasJimin’s solo is definitely my favorite among all the BTS members.     I’m in love with “Like Crazy” is so perfect for every thinkable situation, but “Face Off”, OMG don’t sleep on that one, it’s beautiful. “Alone” has a distinct experience when you listen to it too. AND of course, “Set Me Free” what an anthem, I wish everyone could listen to it. It’s a game changer. Jimin’s vocals, raw, anger, desperation, FREEDOM all combined in the uniquely tone only JiminI’m in love with “Like Crazy” is so perfect for every thinkable situation, but “Face Off”, OMG don’t sleep on that one, it’s beautiful. “Alone” has a distinct experience when you listen to it too.     There's truly no need for an album review when you could listen to it for yourself. Face is a masterpiece. Listen to it, and you'll know. Jimin's voice is one of the most unique and captivating voices I've heard. My favorite song on this album is: Alone. PS: buying artists' music should be the norm if you'd like your artist to keep making art. So, pick up a cd while you're at it. ;)

    Jimins first ever solo album is refreshing. His distinct voice added color to a storytelling of his personal struggles and realizations. Even if one will not bother learning the lyrics and understanding the prose of his artistry, still, one will not find it hard to enjoy the album tracks. They are a bop.

The sound engineering is tight and Jimin's vocals were delicious in the sense that no other singer could have sang on these songs instead to this effect.     Love Jimin in his element! His ability to convey how he felt at the beginning and thoughout the pandemic was amazing, so relatable and his message came full circle by the end. Love that he made use of his lower register that I appreciate so much. Favorite b-side-only because I can't pick them all is "Alone". I listen to this album religiously and can't wait to see what's next.

    Face is Jimin’s First solo Album and to say that he devoured would be an understatement. I love Albums that tell a story when you listen to them in a row and this is exactly what Face does. Jimin wrote 5/6 songs in this album and has poured all his feelings that he felt during the Covid 19 Pandemic into this album. You can feel so many emotions from anger, happiness, fear, loneliness,Face is Jimin’s First solo Album and to say that he devoured would be an understatement. I love Albums that tell a story when you listen to them in a row and this is exactly what Face does. Jimin wrote 5/6 songs in this album and has poured all his feelings that he felt during the Covid 19 Pandemic into this album. From the raw Face-Off to the gorgeous pop anthem Like Crazy to the powerful Set Me Free pt. 2, FACE is such a surprise.What a remarkable solo debut.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. To begin, this entire album of Jimin's is a piece of art! Face-Off immediately catches the listeners attention and the instrumental is stunning! The interlude while not technically a song is enjoyable to hear because you can hear Jimin talk during a concert and when he addressed the crowd you can just feel the happiness in his voice. The next track Like Crazy is so full of emotions about want to just hide away from reality because it to painful; almost like dropping into a dream. Jimin has given a tiny peek into his true self and emotions. Set Me Free Pt.2 is a look into another side of Jimin that his fans don't get to see very often. His emotions seems to hit a breaking point in this song and he's setting himself free. Free of other's expectations, judgment and the needless hate from his haters. He quite literally tells them to **** off! The artistic use of auto tune gives a nice touch to the song. Like Crazy English Version is the final track on his EP. Much like it's Korean counter part, it showcases Jimin's emotions so well. Now if you listen to the physical CD of this album then you'll actually find a hidden track called Letters. It seems most fitting that he's given his ARMY a secret little gift. A song genuinely meant for his fans and for nobody else's judgement. A fellow group member, Jungkook, lends his voice for background vocals which blend so well with Jimin's countertenor voice. This song is probably the most raw and emotional you'll ever hear Jimin get. It's a completely outstanding album. I look forward to more solo work from Jimin!… Expand

Each record production being different from the previous one helps thread this heartfelt story, leaving a feeling of fulfillment and at the same time open end/to be continued.

    Jimin definitely did not disappoint with his first solo album! Set Me Free Pt2 is a true anthem in every sense of the word. The flow between songs is perfect, and Jimin's voice is incredible!

    Honestly, this album exceeded my expectations! Not many tracks but it's like making a trip from the first one to the last...yes, the very last one, that beautiful ghost track! You can listen to daily sounds, '80's vibes, dance, rap, synt...and the effort and hard work that Jimin himself put in the production of this album is unmatched!!

    This entire album is a masterpiece representing Jimin's personal emotional journey over the past few years. There isn't a song to skip throughout. I can't get enough of this insanely talented artist and his equally amazing debut album!

    Amazing voice, lyrics and beats!!!
    He did an amazing job with his first solo album!!!
    I am so glad he released it.
    Every song have a different vibe but they tell stories, beautiful stories!!!
    Love what he did in Set Me Free Pt.2, how he was changing his voice to tell us his story, how he was facing his old self and telling him that he's free now from all the hates from alk his fears and insecurities.Love it!!!
    And for the main track like crazy, I loved the sound and the vibe of it, the lyrics suit the vibes perfectly and jimin voice always make the song even more ethereal.
    And for "Alone" it was an emotional, it really touched my heart and jimin said he wrote it during the pandemic which make it even more special and also sad, the lyrics are so relatable:

    넌 그럴듯한 변명을 해봐도 또
    Even if you try to make believable excuses again,

    눈을 감고 외면을 해봐도 oh
    even if you try to close your eyes and turn away,

    The lyrics are telling his story how he got stronger and it give a break up vibe not only between two people but also with oneself.

    The only problem with this album, it actually ends. From the first track till the hidden one is so beautiful, how he tells a story and share his feelings and emotions is so mesmerizing. I LOVED IT

This album is a work of art in every aspect, It's impossible not to fall in love with Jimin's voice and charm, he brings all his charisma in his songs, reaching beautiful notes, with songs that tell a linear story about a moment of liberation and self-acceptance from Jimin.     Wow! Jimin takes us on an emotional journey with his feelings. We start off with Face Off and just wow! The album is a masterpiece to Set Me Free! His vocal range is so amazing and unique! No one is doing it like Park Ji-min! I can’t wait to hear more from him!

    While it’s a short EP, it doesn’t disappoint. If anything, he presents himself as a soloist with an unexpected sound for his high-pitched countertenor voice and very far from those earlier ballads we have heard from him.

    Its six tracks wrap all too quickly, and while it was specified that Jimin doesn’t consider this a full-length project, it does leave the listener craving more music in this vein somewhere down the road — it’s worth repeating that the energy of “Face-off” is one that he should consider chasing most of all.
