    Chapter 2 starts with Jhope giving us a masterpiece album. It is a bold move to strike out with mix type genre of K-pop with a touch of metal, rock, grunge, and old-school hip-hop. All the songs when played sequentially construct Jhope's storyline. The songs are not only hypnotic but extremely catchy. I just love the edgy tones. This is one of the best albums that I have heard.

Sure, he let down the fair weather BTS/GP fans who expected only his manufactured always-sunny persona. How can he grow as an artist if he doesn't step out of his comfort zone? I am so damn proud of him!!     j-hope really switched things up with Jack In The Box album. He created a masterpiece that changed the narrative and set the standard really high not just for the others in his team or genre but for the industry. Really a big breath of fresh air. His songwriting skills are also a hundred percent. My favorite tracks are Pandora's Box, Arson, More and What If.

    I'm honestly not a fan of k-pop but this album changed my thoughts. Although it doesn't feel like pop music but old school Hip Hop. I loved that each song is a journey into a story and that it touches on very interesting themes. j-hope surprised me and i will keep an eye on his music.

    This is a no-skip masterpiece with very meaningful lyrics. And this man live? I highly recommend checking his Lollapalooza performance. J-Hope is an artist thru and thru.

    This was one of the best albums of 2022, by far. The concept of the album is brilliant and of course the content. So impressive, the songs and the lyrics, they are amazing. My favourite songs are: Pandora's Box, Equal Sign , Future and Arson. If you like a good old school rap with a bit of R & B, this is your album. And if you want to watch a performance of Jack in The box songs IThis was one of the best albums of 2022, by far. The concept of the album is brilliant and of course the content. So impressive, the songs and the lyrics, they are amazing. My favourite songs are: Pandora's Box, Equal Sign , Future and Arson. If you like a good old school rap with a bit of R & B, this is your album. And if you want to watch a performance of Jack in The box songs I recommend you to check : Jhope at Lollapalloza.     I still listen to this album daily and for me this is a no skip album. The only knock I have is that I want a few of those songs to last a little longer. The lyrics are deep and self reflective. The sound throughout the album is consistent with the level of respect j-hope has toward old school and golden age hip hop for inspiring his dance and his writing. Love it!!

    O álbum é uma obra prima em todos os sentidos. Foi uma experiência grandiosa mergulhar na versatilidade que é o J-hope como artista. Cada música era mais surpreendente que a outra. Um álbum maravilhoso e com mensagens lindas. Foi ótimo conhecer um pouco mais de quem é Jung Hoseok através desse trabalho.

    El concepto esta bastante trabajado detalladamente, es interesante, la lírica introspectiva es de lo mas genial, no hay skips, un álbum que vale la pena transmitir de inicio a fin.

    Un album conceptual en el que jhope analiza lo que a aprendido durante los 9 años de su carrera y como esto construye su personalidad y sus valores, mucho más experimental que su mixtape hope world pero sin olvidar las ritmos que lo caracterizan

    Amazing album, with beautiful storyline, we have incredibly multitalented artist here. For a debut, j-hope set a bar really high but I have no doubt he will deliver even better music in the future, because he is THAT talented, hardworking and passionate and he loves new challenges.

The instrumentation throughout the whole album was just tremendously good, and as usual Jhope killing it with his amazing vocal. The song 'Stop' really brought me back to my teenage years, and when I heard ODB sample in 'What If', it almost brought me to tears!! I will treasure this album so much, thank you Jhope for such a beautifully crafted album from start to finish!… Expand

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
