    Jack in the Box deserves every ounce of the critical acclaim it has received. Hobi weaves a story through each track in a way that few artists do these days. This album is meant to be listened to as a complete work. I highly recommend.

    como una persona que ama el rap y hip-hop recomiendo este álbum está muy bueno se nota cuando un artista esta involucrado en su música nunca pensé que sería tan talentoso, me encanto todas las canciones pero me atrapo más ´´more´´ por lo rara que es, es impresionante.

I honestly felt 1000 different type of emotions while listening to this album. Arson and more the 2 title tracks are amazing and I'm particularly in love with their beats. Pandora box is the essence of who jhope is. This album is so different from hope world its the darker version of himself. But it's also him but raw. And the metaphor of the box is genius, he was living inside this box and Finally got out and burned it all. He also used the fire to represent the celebrity fame etc like a burning fire consuming him ? Or a fire that will continue to make him shine? .I like the meaning of arson and I think he did well placing it as the last song on the album. And I particularly liked the musicality of music box: reflection. In less words: jhope is an amazing artist, he is a genius and a great mind. The musicality the lyrics, the Rap, everything was on point, it's beyond expectations. He took risks and went out of his comfort zone , he made another someone's favorite song, another someone " safe zone" . He is amazing . He is our hope, our sunshine but beyond thay he is also jung hoseok with a full range of beautiful human emotions that unveiled in this albums.     The whole production is a work of art. Not looping this one is getting really hard for every fan out there. Make sure to listen with headphones to get the best experience. Specially for the transition from Music Box to What If... I can't wait for the world to hear the mastermind that is Jung Hoseok.

    Simply one of the best hip hop albums I've ever heard. The songs must be listened to in order as they tell a carefully developed story. This guy's flow is impeccable, the lyricism too and the visual identity is marked, unique and very beautiful. All the songs are very well done, exploring different styles of hip hop, including hip house, hip rock and experimental. J-Hope did a very daringSimply one of the best hip hop albums I've ever heard. It's an intimate and complete album.     This album shows a different version of J-Hope from what we are already used to in BTS or even on his previous works like his mixtape “Hopeworld”. It’s really beautiful to see him trying new things. I am proud of his journey and the artist that he is.

    Hoseok’s music spectrum is extremely wide. Tho it’s completely different from the kind of music we are used to from his band, his individual projects has something raw that’s never been seen before. So good luck to him on this project. I’ve been enjoying it so far and i hope others do too. He is a really talented individual

Listening to the songs in order from track 1 to track 10 tells a story so creative and interesting that repeating the album on various accounts becomes easier after every listen. The songs address topics such as equality, diversity, selfhope/selflove and many other important messages needed in our society today. Alongside the amazing messages comes beats, instrumentals, lyrics, and hoseok’s flow that almost forces you to bop your head from start to finish. Anyone who hasn’t listened already i suggest listening as soon we possible, this is an album that must be shared… Expand

    A very very strong concept album leaning heavily into Hoseok's hip-hop roots. His flow is immaculate and his lyricism is personal and sincere and raw. The soundscape takes the listener on a journey starting low and eerie with intro, setting the foundation through pandora's box and crashing into full grunge and rock-fueled hip hop with more. The sampling of ol' dirty bastard's 'shimmyA very very strong concept album leaning heavily into Hoseok's hip-hop roots. His flow is immaculate and his lyricism is personal and sincere and raw. The soundscape takes the listener on a journey starting low and eerie with intro, setting the foundation through pandora's box and crashing into full grunge and rock-fueled hip hop with more. The sampling of ol' dirty bastard's 'shimmy shimmy ya' in what if was such a great homage and surprise and the whole production on the track is insanely good. Equal Sign kind of switches it up texturally with sweet melodic singing and the synth shimmers and glitters throughout. My favorite, however, are safety zone and future, sonically so infectious and stunning production again. Arson is the perfect end, wrapping up but not quite ending a tale of ambition, hunger, insecurity, anger, empathy and hopefulness with an ethical dilemma: do we let the embers we lit , burn everything down, or do we put an end to it? More interestingly, can we even put an end to the fire an artist at the height of his craft unleashes on to the world.… Expand

    i just love it!!! it's literally amazing. i really recommend go listening it since it's fantastic. i'm so proud of jung hoseok for this comeback and i hope he knows we're really proud of him. at first i didnt like that much "more" but know i think the album is just amazing.

    Definitely one of the best albums this year!
    I liked every song, the lyrics were so original and some of them very relatable. J-hope is a musical genius !
    As i said i liked every song but my favorites have to be equal sign, safety zone and what if. ☺

    I can tell J-Hope put his soul into this album! It totally captures his essence and style as a solo artist, separated from his BTS persona. Jack in the box is really different from what we have heard from him so far, and it has a unique sound to each song, exploring multiple genres, such as a perfect mix of rock and hip hop in MORE.     Whether the music on Jack in the Box suits your taste or not, it’s hard to dismiss this album as an artistic statement rather than just chapter 1/7 of BTS proving they can also make money in ways beyond official group releases.

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
