As with the other Fiepblatter releases, Miscontinuum Album may not be for more casual fans of St. Werner's work, but those willing to dive into the sounds and ideas he leaves on the fringes of his more widely released music should enjoy this journey.

It doesn't require your full attention, but it tends to capture it. I like to imagine what it would feel like to stumble across the piece on the radio, late at night, perhaps in your car, having no idea what you were hearing, or why.

Miscontinuum Album is a wonderful glimpse into Jan St. Werner’s life outside of Mouse on Mars and it would be even better if fewer people were involved--for it to be a true solo album.

Perhaps this recording isn't the best way to experience it, then, but, it whets the appetite for an UK performance scheduled for early 2015. [Jan 2015, p.75]

No matter your tastes, there's something to put you on edge. [No. 117, p.61]

Asymmetrical and pitched up and down at any given moment, Miscontinuum is an unwavering data stream whose moments of relative clarity still press on your temples like a tightening vice.

Odd, occasionally unsettling, always memorable. [Mar 2015, p.97]
