LDR’s authentic production and brilliant lyricism display her growth beautifully and in an interesting, innovative way. She is the standard for many other girls in her genre as her influence can be seen in their most recent works.

A true masterpiece, Lana Del Rey at her higgest. I hope she will release a better album. But i don't think you gan eo better than this.

    i think there’s no words to explain the perfect work put in this album, everything is completely calculated to reach the perfection. lana’s 6th album starts explaining the complexity of her’s relationship with norman and finish exalting the strongest image of a powerful woman. with no doubts, lana’s best work and one of the most beautiful albums ever.

    NFR! , A great album by Lana Del Ray with the insane production power of Jack Antonoff. It's a very dark and honest album and some of the songs are the best Lana has ever written. With that being said, I felt like some lyrics repeated themselves through different songs with very little changes made to them, which to me , downgraded the power they hold.     On some songs it felt like layering is missing, and they lacked an edge that was needed (for example 'California' would be a 10/10 for me if that outro was grander... still a great song though)
    Lana's vocals are overall superb, and the emotions are felt through every note she sings.
    Production is also very impressive with tracks like 'Venice **** , 'California' or 'The greatest' , each producer gave their own special touch to the tracks, but the greatest and most creative productions are definitely on Jack Antonoff's (and frequently Lana Del Ray's) tracks.

    Her most overrated album. All songs sounds the same, are bland and emotionless. The lyrics seem to be written by a 13 yrs old on Wattpad, the mixing and instrumentals are mediocre. I seriously cannot understand the hype around it

    Norman F*cking Rockwell! went to be one of the best if not the best album of the 2019. The evolution from previous works of her it’s enormous, the lyricisms, the production and the help of Jack Antonoff really made this album perfect. The nostalgia every song creates really transcends into the listeners. Venice **** it’s a perfect example of the talent of lana.     This album is Lana’s best work yet! With her beautiful voice and majestic lyricism Lana shows her full potential in this album. This album is cohesive all the way through and all the songs are very beautiful. This album is definitely one of the best albums that has come out in the past decade.

    When I say this is my favorite album ever, I mean it with my entire heart. Since it came out, I’ve listened to many other artists and albums, and NFR! continues to stay my number one. This album is pure art; pure poetry. When I first listened to it shortly after it came out in August of 2019, I did not expect that I would listen to it on repeat for quite literally over a year and stillWhen I say this is my favorite album ever, I mean it with my entire heart. Since it came out, I’ve listened to many other artists and albums, and NFR! continues to stay my number one. This album is pure art; pure poetry. When I first listened to it shortly after it came out in August of 2019, I did not expect that I would listen to it on repeat for quite literally over a year and still think about it constantly when I became tired of it simply because of sublime overexposure. Every song in this album is so gorgeously crafted and truly Lana at her peak of storytelling and her voice. The opening line “Godd*mn man child, you f-ed me so good that I almost said ‘I love you’” will literally live in my memory forever. It’s iconic. This album is such a cohesive & melancholic, yet in spots, hopeful piece of work. My standout tracks are literally all of them. I am not joking. Not a single one is bad. If I had to choose I’d say “Mariners…” “Venice B*tch” “Cinnamon Girl” “California” “Happiness is a Butterfly” and “Hope is a dangerous thing…” are my favorites. I’m just so in love with the way Lana’s mind works and that we get to listen to her stunning poetry in the form of songs. The lyrics of these songs deeply affected me for months and months as I listened to this album, and still do to this day. They helped me feel like my emotions were valid and lines like “You took my sadness out of context/at the Mariners Apartment Complex” and “24/7 Sylvia Plath” truly resonated. This is one of those albums that you just know will go down in music history as one of the best albums ever. Even Elton John called the songs “timeless” so you know that means something. I don’t know if Lana will ever be able to surpass what she achieved with this album because it’s just THAT good. Couldn’t recommend an album more. Now go listen to it!!… Expand

    NFR! is perfectly crafted; from ‘love song’ to ‘Mariners apartment complex’ to the 10 minute long ‘Venice B***h’. The ecstatic arrangements also introduce a new sound for Lana, that of which she completely masters.

    It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.
