    This album makes blessed madonna remixes sound good. Katy is desperatelly aiming for a hit but with no creativity, no risk, no meaning, nothing. Just the old bozo perry doing her clowneries for her childish fanbase. This smile? Has cavities. This circus? Is a horror show.

    It should be called Frown rather than Smile. There wasn’t a single ounce of originality in this album. She hasn’t been able to release good music since 2013. And even that was a stretch. Come on Katy. Give us good music, that you put your heart and soul into. This just ain’t it. You may have finally got back your smile, but you need to get back your talent..

    Painfully the same Katy we’ve seen for years, with similar sounding beats and overproduction. There are some okay tracks on here, but not enough to fully save it. We can’t easily give her good reviews just because she’s Katy Perry. This album has to at least live up to its predecessor’s, to which it does not.

En letras (como casi siempre) se denota mucho poder, su voz en algunas canciones como What Makes a Woman es en verdad muy suave y agradable al oído, pero es la única canción del disco junto a Only Love que pude escuchar hasta el final sin aburrirme. Un álbum que obviamente recuerda a la¡Triste pero real! Katy Perry de verdad entró en el flop. No podia creerlo hasta que escuche este disco. En letras (como casi siempre) se denota mucho poder, su voz en algunas canciones como What Makes a Woman es en verdad muy suave y agradable al oído, pero es la única canción del disco junto a Only Love que pude escuchar hasta el final sin aburrirme.     First, it includes singles that were released almost or more than a year ago. For me that is Lack of creativity for making new songs. Next, 12 songs for an “iconic” album, really? 12 songs is nothing and only 8 are really new songs, I really think that is, besides lack of creativity, also lack of interest for achieving an award or returning something to    This album is a really weird one.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
