[Simple Plan] serves up ear candy like "Welcome to My Life," which has a gooey-angst-ridden center but is as bouncy as it is sincere. [29 Oct 2004, p.68]

Some excessive ballads aside, Simple Plan's second disc all but perfects the one before it. [Dec 2004, p.141]
  3. This isn't just a step in the right direction for the band, it's--believe it or not--a good move for the pop-punk genre as a whole.
  4. The shift to a more dynamically rich sound suits Simple Plan just fine.

Anywhoo, this album was awesome. The songs are legendary for simple plan on this album, and actually i prefer this album to No Pads.

Decent instrumental work, but combined with whiny lyrics, not much depth or creativity, like what is the point of this record? This is probably the perfect album for teen girls to be like "Yeah, you are so right!! Oh god i love you all so much, Simple Plan!! Mom, shut the f*ck up, you can't change me and push me around!!". If your teen child is listening to this album, you as the parents can be aware of what will happen over the next few months until it grows out of the phase. I grew out of it as well and i can understand it must be a very tough time being the mother or father of that child. Full Review »
