Feb 13, 2019Situated at the border of ambient, new age, techno and industrial music, the album could just as easily fit into a meditative practice as a gritty basement rave. It is also a testament to her technical prowess as an electronic composer. But perhaps more importantly, it lives and breathes her insistence on exploring new sounds and techniques.

Feb 19, 2019TUTTI feels retrospective in the sense that Cosey Fanni Tutti doesn't introduce anything strikingly unfamiliar to her sonic palette here, with its ambient closing tracks a retread back to Time To Tell. TUTTI though is essential in that it marks Cosey Fanni Tutti as the auteur of her own sound world, as well as being a strong facilitator, artist and collaborator.

The WireMar 7, 2019Tutti is a journey to the centre of the soul, but it is a kindly one, and Cosey is a most excellent guide. [Mar 2019, p.61]
-
UncutFeb 8, 2019An absorbing, illbient record magisterial in its power but minimal in execution, it works best as a set piece. [Mar 2019, p.27]
-
Q MagazineFeb 13, 2019They're mysterious but persuasive sonic realities. [Apr 2019, p.118]
-
MojoFeb 8, 2019The pieces here are teeming with small melodic and rhythmic details across a range of textures. [Mar 2019, p.87]

Feb 8, 2019The album is designed to become more and more ambient, and in the end it lapses into forgettable cod-sinister wafting on En and Orenda. But in the central section, as that insistent beat begins to lose its way, there is some drama.
