Just as grand as one would expect from the German rockers, ‘Zeit’ is a disorienting, glorious dose of Neue Deutsche Härte. Thick with charisma and a sharp sense of theatricality, this is another certified classic.

The actual flow of the record may feel a bit all over the place, but that’s kind of the point. Rammstein thoroughly enjoy keeping their fans on their toes, if not attempting to purposefully irritate them even slightly.

‘Zeit’ might be a more reflective album than previous Rammstein records, but it’s still an energetic, swaggering beast.

This isn’t their strongest album – that’s a dead heat between Sehnsucht and Mutter – but it’s at least as good as the three albums preceding it, and that means it’s a very good album indeed. ... This is also – you’ll see – an endlessly replayable album.

Yes, it really does nod towards Sound of Music and backs this cleverly with an illuminating barrage of steely industrial noise. Of course, the album will only truly explode into life when it surges into the live arena. A lavish and unique operatic gothic party that promises, as ever, to be a scream.

Zeit is imperfect, but there’s so much to be savoured here, and aspects you won’t get from any other Rammstein album.

On their eighth album, the lyrics are again in German, the riffs again pound and all you might expect is present and correct. At times it’s so on the nose you all but roll your eyes.

Sceptic after the first single "Zeit" which was awful, the rest of this album blew me outta the goddamn water. This album may in fact be the best Rammstein has to offer to date - it feels like they've taken a little bit from all of their previous works (expect self-titled thankfully) and put it into this album. If you wanted a fresh air of new Rammstein, but with the old and classic hard and brutish style, this album will do you more than fine. Rammstein has NO RIGHT releasing an album THIS OUTSTANDING - I simply will not accept it, even though I will continue to listen to it forever. Expand

And I have to say, it’s up there as one of my favourite albums to date. Armee der Tristen is classic Rammstein and a perfect album opener. A couple of songs had me laughing (in a good way, looking at you OK and Dicke Titten), but others (Angst and Giftig in particular) had me in awe. I’m just glad they’ve managed to release another album I thoroughly enjoyed, as I loved the previous album so much.

    Thank you, Rammstein. Thank you.

Another great album by Rammstein and in my opinion it is overall better than 2019 self titled album.
the best song musically in my opinion is Zick Zack, while its kind of humorous with simple lyrics,it's a very typical Rammstein receipe.
other highlights include Zeit,Armee Der Tristen (just like Reise Reise it's a perfect album opener as well as show opener with very relatable lyrics and mood),and Angst.
I've been a fan of Rammstein for over 20 years now and never been disappointed.
