    Exit Wounds isn’t radically different from the band’s other albums. It remains true to the formula the band have always embraced. The lyrics paint vivid pictures and are easy to sing. The melodies are instantly familiar, which is part of what makes them so endearing. And if it isn’t broke, why fix it?

It's a diverse range of styles and encompasses the best aspects of previous records, while eliminating their drawbacks. From the wonderful and plaintive "Maybe Your Heart's Not In It No More" to the high voltage rocker "Who's That Man"; this album caught me by surprise, and it's a record many people are going to love!… Expand

There is a song or two that feel like leftovers from his last solo record ("Wrong End Of The Spear"), but a much more solid album overall than their previous one, "Glad All Over". The sound here is more like the country-rock/Americana sound from "Bringing Down The Horse" in places. "Who's That Man" is a highlight, just a no holds barred rocker with a killer hook. Good to have this band back in the saddle!… Expand
