If his discography to this point was the regular season, From King To A GOD could be a sign that play-off Maquina is going to be a problem.

Despite the album having a few filler tracks, Machine may just end up with the crown on the album cover if he continues the route he’s currently on.

From King to a GOD is arguably one of the best Griselda projects thus far and a viable contender for year-end lists. Conway’s versatility is on full display throughout the album, exhibiting his growth as an artist who is coming into his own in his late thirties.

Listening to Conway's latest is hearing the sound of an underground king ascend to the status of the esteemed guest artists he attracts.

Forceful and atmopsheric, ‘From A King To A God’ punches through the glass ceiling, its purposeful swagger leering out of the speakers. His third full length project in 2020, ‘Conway The Machine has hit escape velocity.

What the rapper lacks in flow experimentation and dexterous rhyme-craft, he makes up for with his knack for sincere storytelling.

It's the best Griselda album so far.

Griselda's biggest problem was their work ethic. They were releasing 2-3 projects every year and their sound was starting to get old. But this album sounds nothing like old Griselda projects. Better production, better flows, better lyrics. Conway really outdid himself with this one.
