    There isn’t a better way that Skrillex could’ve made his return, and Quest For Fire will undoubtedly be remembered as one of his best.

    It's really cool on paper, a showcase of obvious and enormous talent with an extensive feature list that manages to satiate fans’ long-awaited fantasies while still giving them opportunities to explore new discographies. yet somehow it still ends up much smaller than the sum of its parts, particularly the main star.

    Listening to the album feels like opening a time capsule to the early and mid-10s, a period marked by a cheesy, over-the-top hedonism that might only be truly understood if you survived the Great Recession and saw Obama become president twice. ... It's easier to get behind Quest For Fire when Moore's dubstep influences are subtler.

I appreciate the collaborations he has throughout the album (porter robinson, fred again, four tet, noisia, joker, etc...). As I got older I grew out of that sound, but hearing this album brought me back to that same excited feeling. It has a much more laid back sound then his earlier stuff, and that’s why I vibe with it so much. It’s something I can put on wherever and get those subtle “wubz” that I used to enjoy so much, while getting an impressively clean mix, and a more modern sound.… Expand

    This album is just soulless. Cramming as many features as possible might carry it. There's a couple good songs (Personally I like Hydrate,This album is just soulless.
